Wub! Wub! noise could be TIRES underinflated?
I hear wub whub whub noise in my 4Runner(V8) suppose to be very quite vehicle. I remember, I had the tires checked and rotated a month ago. You know when the shop rotate and check tires they will deflate it to what the door jam specified. I always inflate it to 35 psi they lowered it to possibly 32 because I read 30-31 and coincidence with the noise. Could the noise be from my tires? The vehicle is steady, no vibrations from the steering wheel. My tires are BFG Radial Long TRail @ 30-31 psi now, it has 28k miles on it. For the last 2 yrs plus, whenever I noticed they deflate it to door jam specs, I always fill it back to 35psi. Sorry for asking first..I don’t have air compressor this time.
So, in short I am concerned about the wub whub whub noise, it goes with rpm.

Possibly, I always tell my mechanic to inflate my tires 2-3 PSI over what the door jam, due to the fact that my Long Trails have thicker sidewalks than the Stock Goodyear Eagles On My Murano, but I’ve never heard a Whub Whub sound.
