rechargeable battery but lost the charger, is there a universal charger?
I have a Coleman Quick Pump for air mattresses and the like, and the tranformer is lost but has these specs: Class 2 Transformer
INPUT: 120v AC 60Hz 6W
OUTPUT: 7.5v DC 250mA
MODEL: 35-7.5-250B
Coleman appears to be…out of the replacement can I use something else…?

A charger must have up to 50% more voltage than the battery it is charging. The one stated will charge the battery at 250 milliamps. Therefore if the battery is say 1000milliamp/hour battery it will charge in 4 hours but will need a liitle longer to allow for inefficiency in the system.. You can use a 100ma output charger with sufficient voltage and it will only take longer. A higher milliamperage charger than standard will work but could overheat and damage the battery. Stick to standard or less. Your main problem will be to acquire a charger with the correct connection.
